Four Jefferson Nurses Named Spectrum Awards Regional Finalists

Four Jefferson nurses have been named Greater Philadelphia/Tri-State Regional Finalists in the 2010 Nursing Spectrum Awards of Excellence competition. Congratulations to Sara Osi, RN, BSN, staff nurse, Medical/Surgical Unit, “Community Service” finalist; Julie Donnelly, RN, MSN, nurse manager, Medical/Surgical Trauma Unit, “Management” finalist; Anne Delengowski, RN, MSN, AOCN, oncology clinical nurse specialist, Oncology Unit/Bodine Infusion Unit, “Teaching” finalist; and Eleanor Fitzpatrick, RN, MSN, CCRN, clinical nurse specialist, Surgical Intensive Care Unit/Intermediate Surgical Intensive Care Unit, “Teaching” finalist.

The nurses will be among 30 finalists who will be honored at the Excellence Awards banquet on May 12. During the event, one nurse from each category will be named a regional winner, and those six will move onto the national program competition. National winners will be announced in the fall.
