Jefferson Celebrates Certified Nurses Day

Debbi L. The celebratory event honored those nurses who have achieved certification in their specialty areas. Rachel Behrendt, DNP, RN, AOCNS, senior director of the MAGNET program and director of staff development, presented “Nursing Certification: What it means to Us, Our Patients and Our Profession.”

This event highlights the nursing excellence that exists here at Jefferson; excellence that translates into exemplary patient outcomes. We are proud of our nurses and the many certifications they hold.”

Certified Nurses Day™ is a special day of recognition to acknowledge the role of board-certified nurses in advancing nursing professionalism and contributing to better outcomes in patient health.
