Scheduling Requirements
Nurses who work as part of the Weekend Program are required to work 5 out of 6 weekends per month.

"You Choose" Option
Methodist offers Weekend Program nurses the option to choose benefits as part of their compensation package. If you choose not to accept medical benefits in addition to your per diem, you will be paid at a higher rate. You choose.

Professional Requirements:
To apply for a weekend nurse position, we prefer you have a minimum of two years recent experience in an acute care facility. In addition, you must have a:

Current PA nursing license
Current CPR certification
ACLS certification preferred for critical care

Orientation:
Weekend nurses are required to complete an orientation self-learning packet in addition to an on-site 12-hour day, paid orientation. Choose this hyperlink for more information about Orientation.
