Professional Requirements:
To apply for a pool nurse position, you must have:

  • Two years recent experience in an acute care facility
  • Current PA nursing license
  • Current CPR certification
  • ACLS certification required for critical care

Methodist Pool Nursing

Methodist Hospital offers pool (per diem) nursing opportunities to qualified candidates. Apply online.

Scheduling Requirements:
Pool (per diem) nurses are required to provide their scheduling availability to work one weekend per month, as the patient census dictates.

Professional Requirements:
To apply for a pool (per diem) nurse position, we prefer you have a minimum of two years recent experience in an acute care facility. In addition, you must have:

  • Current PA nursing license
  • Current CPR certification
  • ACLS certification required for critical care

Orientation:
Pool (per diem) nurses are required to complete an orientation self-learning packet in addition to an on-site, 12-hour day, paid orientation. Click here for more information.
